☆ In the interest of you/your child’s learning, we encourage students to attend all classes, and to attend on time.
Notification to the studio of class cancellation 48 hours prior to the original scheduled time is required. Cancellations will not be accepted over voice mail. Please speak to receptionist in person or call during studio office hours. The studio will be closed on Mondays.
After cancellation it is the student/parent’s responsibility to make up the class either by rescheduling with their current teacher or by taking class with a substitute teacher on an alternate date.
Class cancelled within 48 hours of its original scheduled time and class cancelled without following the proper cancellation procedure as stated above will be considered forfeited. Absence from a class without notification also renders the class forfeited. All valid cancellations must reschedule for make up classes within the current semester. All classes missed or not rescheduled within the semester will be forfeited. Classes are not transferable into future semesters.
Should the student cancel a class within 48 hours of the original scheduled time due to sickness, a doctor’s note must be presented the following week in order to schedule for a make up class.
No cancellation/rescheduling will be permitted in 4-week sessions and for music/dance group class
II. Registration, Tuition and Refund
☆ Tuition is based on the semester. Fall and Spring Semester are 20 weeks in duration, Summer session is 10 weeks.
A $20 registration fee is applicable for new students.
Please complete registration and make payments 1 week prior to the beginning of the semester.
For Private Students only: A discount is applicable when tuition is paid in full prior to the beginning of the semester (Please refer to brochure, call or e-mail for detail)
For Private Students only: When deferring tuition, please make first payment prior to the beginning of the semester, the remaining balance is due no later than 6 weeks after the start of the semester.
Tuition deferment is not available for the Summer and 4-week sessions.
Mid-semester registrants are required to pay for the remainder of the semester in full upon registration. (Please refer to brochure, call or email for detail)
Incomplete registration and non-payment prior to the start of the semester will result in the loss of place on the student roster as well as the assumed time-slot.
Registration fee, books and material fees are non-refundable.
Withdrawal prior to the start of the semester will be refunded 75%. Withdrawal on or prior to the 5th week of the semester will be refunded 50%. No refund will be issued after the 5th week of the semester.
Tuition is non-refundable for mid-semester registrants who register after the 5th week and for registrants of 4-week sessions.
Tuitions are subject to annual adjustment.
III. Discounts
Refer a friend to register and complete payments at New Song Studio to receive a $20 coupon.
$10 coupons will be issued to immediate family members (parents & siblings) when 2 or more are registered and have completed payments.
Coupons are not applicable to registration fees and tuitions.
