Mr. Christopher Lee

Christopher Lee attended Manhattan School of Music’s preparatory division as a violinist while studying at F. H. LaGuardia High School, where he received the Orfman Award for outstanding string players at graduation.
Mr. Lee was a member of various orchestras and chamber music ensembles while working on his degree at New York University, where he received B.M. in Performance.
While at NYU, Christopher realized his passion for teaching and began his pursue for a career in music education. He has taught in various positions and has been actively involved in community educational programs and church ministries.
Mr. Chris, as his students and their parents call him, developed the Music Group Class curriculum for New Song Studio and has been introducing youngsters to the wonderful world of music since 2003. He is currently working on a M.A. in Music Education at CUNY Queens College.
